All cats are totally adorable. But there are some cats who are naturally photogenic and will make you fall in love with them just by looking at their photo. Rexie, a male handicat, is basically the equivalent of an emoji cat. He is always ready to express himself for the camera. And his owner, Dasha Minaeva, took notice of it. Since she started sharing him with the world, he’s stolen hearts everywhere. Rexie the cat, you are certainly the thief of hearts that you claim to be.

This male tabby cat only has the ability to use his front to feet, but that doesn’t slow him down from being the living emoji cat that we’ve all come to love. Born November 18, 2014, Rexie was rescued by Dasha as a wee kitten and the two have been inseparable ever since.

Dasha told Bored Panda that Rexie, “doesn’t even know he’s handicapped.” And also that he’s just your ordinary playful and curious cat, and that he “does all the things other funny cats do.” But given that he doesn’t have the ability to use his back legs, Dasha helps him out whenever he needs it. She says that he’s “unable to use the toilet or scratch his ears on his own. But that’s what his human is for!”
It seems that Dasha is a dedicated cat mom and Rexie is truly lucky to have her in his life. And we are too, because if not for her, we wouldn’t get to share in his effortless adorableness!
Seriously, he really is the living emoji cat if you ask me…

A little throwback from February 2015 of Rexie as a cute little kitten…
Dasha is often asked if she has ever considered getting a wheelchair for Rexie to go around in, and the truth is that she’s tried and he really wasn’t a fan of it. She says that, “He does way much better without it. Cats are very independent and adjust perfectly. Rexie is more mobile and comfortable walking and running on his two feet.”
