In Saint Paul, Minnesota, there lives a gorgeous gray cat by the name of MoeGray. Part Maine Coon and Ragdoll, MoeGray is a cat that didn’t have an easy start in life. But thankfully for this fluffy feline, fate was on his side. And thanks to lots of love and care, he’s blossomed into an impressive 21lb feline that’s got a heart of gold and lots of love to give—on his terms, naturally! I caught up with MoeGray’s owner hoping to feature him on the website, and thankfully she agreed.
So, everyone, meet MoeGray!
How did Moe Gray come into your life?
Moe Grey was my Dad’s cat and he couldn’t take care of Moe any longer, he gave Moe to me and my sister Christine. Later on, I added Grey to his name for his Facebook page.
How did Moe Gray get his name?
He got his name from his first owner Bob who gave Moe to my Dad.
What is his personality like?
MoeGrey’s personality is big. He loves being the center of attention goofy, he’s kind of grumpy but sweet and loves to be around his Mama.
Does he have any other cat or dog housemates at home?
Yes, I have another cat named Chloe, she is 11 years old. MoeGrey loves to bother her.
What are his favorite hobbies?
He loves to play with his wand teaser toys mostly the feather ones, he loves catnip, and he enjoys getting to go outside with me.
What’s something special you’d like people to know about Moe Gray?
MoeGrey is a therapy cat, we no longer do therapy work with the nursing home, but we used to. He loves to be around kids, understands the words I’m saying well (because I don’t baby talk to MoeGrey). Before my Dad had him, he came from a backyard Ragdoll breeder so MoeGrey was a sick cat for a year. Now he’s very healthy.
I’d like to give a special “thank you” to Prudence for allowing me to share MoeGray’s story and photos with all of the Cattitude Daily readers. Stories like his just go to show you that rescued cats have so much love to give. They just need to find the right person to help them shine. For more of MoeGray, check out his Instagram here.
