In Rostov, Russia, there lives a lovely feline who turns heads for his interesting appearance. He has a dazzling gray coat and lovely green eyes, but for this rescued cat, his eyes are different than what you see every day. Found in a backyard struggling for help, the once wee kitten was clinging on to life. But thankfully for this unique feline, the woman who found him made it her mission to help him, get him well, and provide him the forever home he deserved.
I caught up with Fedya’s owner, Natalia Zhdanova, hoping to feature him on the site, and thankfully, she agreed. So, everyone meet Fedya, a sweet rescued kitty who always has a look of disbelief on his cute little face.
What is Fedya’s personality like?
Fedya is a very kind and affectionate cat. He’s smart, but a little clumsy, can step into his bowl after eating. He loves our whole family and treats our frequent guests well. But if he sees a person for the first time, he is very afraid of him and hides.

Is he in good health despite his permanently surprised expression?
Fedya is generally healthy, but he has problems with his nose (often sneezes) and with his eyes because of their structure, we have to constantly wash him and treat his nose.
What are his favorite hobbies?
Fedya loves to walk on the street, walks around our yard around the perimeter, protects from other cats. He likes to sleep and eat, lie down in his mother’s arms. He plays with moving objects but does not know how to drive balls.
What’s something special you’d like people to know about Fedya?
Fedya does not know how to get angry, he is not aggressive at all, only gives love. He just lives and enjoys life, although he went through a lot, was seriously ill, and almost died twice. His character is unusual, he does not give in to commands. It’s a bit slow. For me, Fedya is a symbol of kindness and the hope of special animals for love, home and a full life.
