If you’ve never seen one of these gorgeous cats in person, then you must. Much like the Maine Coon cats of the United States, Norwegian Forest Cats are gorgeous large-bodied felines with majestic coats that are just begging to be pet. Norwegian Forest Cats—AKA Wedgies—are known as Viking cats and they’ve earned this title well. These cats are built for the frigid climate of Scandinavia, and have survived generation after generation in the wild due to their superior hunting abilities and waterproof thick coat. Aslan the Forest Cat is a true Viking cat. He is strong, brave, bold, and oh-so-fluffy!
Together with his humans, he goes on supervised mini adventures in the forests of Sweden. His images are stunning, and look like something straight out of a feline fairytale.
His bio on social media reads that he’s “King of the Forest” and after looking at his stunning shots, I’d have to agree! Aslan, you wear that crown, my man!
