For one super cool Maine Coon cat appropriately named Fisher, he sails the high seas and explores national parks across the country with his dedicated cat mom and dad. Fisher is special in that not only is he absolutely breathtaking, but he has a quest for adventure and love of water like no other cat I’ve ever seen.
I came across Fisher’s story when his cat dad proudly boasted about him on the Cattitude Daily thread where I polled the audience on cat dads, and it’s clear to see that Fisher is ultimately adored and living out the very best of his nine lives.
Not all cats are ready to set sail or explore the great outdoors, but Fisher is here to prove that he’s ready for any adventure that comes his way—as long as his loving humans are right by his side.

How did Fisher come into your life?
I was my dad’s 50th birthday present.
How did Fisher get his name?
My dad is a 4th Generation Florida Fishing Captain, So Fisher was purrfect.
What is his personality like?
I have no fear. I’m adventurous and always willing to try something new.
How did you realize that Fisher liked water?
Mainecoons are known to love water. My pawrents got me a kiddie pool when I was 9 weeks old and trained me to walk in it to get some electronic fish. Then I went into an adult pool; then into the Gulf on a tube. I also love paddle boarding and swimming.
Can you tell me a little bit about some of his travels?
I traveled to 30 States and 10 National Parks. I love it.
Does he have any other cat or dog housemates at home?
I don’t have any siblings yet but I’ve been asking for a brother. I do meet up with other social media friends and I love it.
What’s something special you’d like people to know about Fisher?
I’m just very outgoing and I love my friends and followers on social media. It makes me so happy to know I can make people happy watching my videos.
